Our crisp and clean private 2-bedroom basement suite is in the quiet, residential Dunbar neighborhood. Entry into the garden level suite is off of a private, gated patio space reserved for the unit. Suite has full functional kitchen, living room, and bathroom. We are close to Dunbar Park, Dunbar Village shops, and walking distance to the UBC Pacific Spirit Park and trails. Bus stops nearby go directly downtown (~200m walk) as well as UBC and the Skytrain to YVR (~900m) via rapid bus. Our 1930’s renovated character home is on a quiet residential side street in picturesque South Dunbar. A lush, tree-lined and restful neighborhood on the West side of Vancouver. There are shops and grocery stores close by for all your essentials with many bus options to take you Downtown, to UBC or to the Oakridge Skytrain Station with trains to the airport. The Space is ground level with windows into our garden. Ceilings are 7-feet high for most of the suite and lots of light throughout (if you are very tall this may not be the ideal location for you.) The entry door from the patio opens into a kitchen with stove, microwave, and refrigerator (note: there is no dishwasher). The combined living dining room is next where there is a comfy pull-out couch, large lounge chair, 43” TV and dining table for 4. The main bedroom has a queen sized, medium-firm, hybrid mattress and large closet. Ideal for a good night sleep! The second bedroom has a double/full sized, medium-firm, hybrid mattress, large closet and workstation. Fresh, clean linens for the pull-out couch are in the storage under the lounger section of the pull-out couch. And, finally, there is a full 3 piece bathroom with tub/shower combo. We live upstairs with our golden retrievers. We are available to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Please note: we only provide short-term rentals to non-smokers and non-vapers. Regular check-in time is 3 pm and check-out time is 11am.

We are a professional couple who work in the medical field and began hosting guests in our suite at the end of 2024. We have lived in the neighborhood for over 30 years and are pleased to welcome guests staying in Vancouver.
