Lesley was inspired to create Sunshine Villa B&B because of her happy memories of the Golden Kitz Inn in Stowe Vermont. It was a jolly and warm place and we hope that you will find Sunshine Villa just the same! We are a family run, legally zoned B&B. Son Alex lives on the property and is there to welcome guests when Lesley is away.

Sunshine Villa overlooks Gunboat Bay in scenic Pender Harbour British Columbia. Four B&B bedrooms can be booked individually. Complimentary self serve continental breakfast is included in room rate. Our hot tub is always open and the deck has an outstanding view of the Bay. Two comfy guest lounges. The 9+ acre grounds have a vineyard, woods, sheltered patio and pond. Perfect location for guests travelling between Earl's Cove Ferry (to Powell River) and Langdale Ferry to Horseshoe Bay. Ideal for exploring Pender Harbour. Spectacular hiking trails close by to be explored, including Mount Daniel & Francis Point. A herd of Elk frequently visit our lower field to graze. Village of Madeira Park shops and restaurants only a five minute drive. Larger town of Sechelt is a scenic half an hour drive south. Guests are welcome to bring take out dinners to eat in our spacious indoor dining areas, but no food in the bedrooms please. Large terrace for outside dining. Coffee & Tea provided. Staff kitchen only. Sunshine Villa welcomes your four legged family members for a small nightly fee. We accept pets, so please reserve only if you are an animal lover. Group bookings welcome.

Pender Harbour is a stunning area of natural beauty with multiple lakes and the ocean to enjoy. Sunshine Villa is located just a few minutes north of Madeira Park Village with it's IGA, pharmacy, art gallery, Oak Tree Market & post office. Mama's Japanese Kitchen, BBBurgers, Aqui es Mexico, and Harbour Pizza are in the Village. Our friendly & welcoming Legion also has food. Beautiful Garden Bay is just 5 minutes to the north of us. The Petro-Canada is on the highway at the turn off. There are excellent hiking trails close by, including Mount Daniel and Francis Peninsula. Painted Boat Resort with an excellent spa, kayaks rentals and a golf course are all nearby. We are located on the direct highway route between the ferry terminal at Earl's Cove (which takes you to Saltery Bay and Powell River) and the ferry terminal at Langdale (Gibsons) which takes you to Horseshoe Bay and Vancouver. Earl's Cove is a 25 minute drive from our B&B and Langdale is only an hour away. The drive into the larger town of Sechelt which has excellent services and shopping takes only half an hour.
