For those with a passion for the great outdoors, there are lots of stunning walking and cycling routes nearby. Slightly further away is Iznajar, home to Spain's second largest reservoir. Known as the “Lake of Andalusia”. The charming town of Rute is located a 10 minute drive and offers all the essential amenities. Rich in culture, Rute is also home to the Anís Museum, Casa Museo del Jamón, Galleros Artesanos, and the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Araceli. Malaga, Cordoba, Granada and within driving distance.

Las Piedras is small white-washed village on the outskirts of the cultural town of Rute. It has a mixed population of Spanish, British and Dutch residents, all of which are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The daily bread van visits Las Piedras offering cakes, bread and other locally made produce. We also have a weekly vegetable and fish van, selling the freshest locally sourced food.
