Loma la Parra is a 5 bedroom, 5 bathroom country house overlooking a charming white village There is a large swimming pool and surrounding terrace set amongst mature trees and many flower pots and its own pergola shade. There are several terraces including a shady dining area and a large outdoor BBQ area with its own table and seating. Its hillside position ensures the house is in sunshine long after the village is in the shade of the mountain.
Colin is a keen tennis player and flew hang gliders in the area for 30 years. Francesca is part of a local flamenco dance group who perform regularly in the village and an excellent cook. It has been our pleasure to host guests for over 20 years in Loma la Parra and for 30 years in our other property.
The house overlooks a charming white village with shops, restaurants, chemist, small museum and tourist office. The famous, spectacular " Caminito del Rey" suspended walkway through the El Chorro gorge is a half hour drive away and the lakes are also nearby. We are centrally located for easy day trips to the historic cities of Granada, Cordoba and Seville with Malaga, Ronda and Antequera closer still. There are endless possibilities for walking in the area and you can choose how hard or otherwise you want your exercise to be. This is also a superb and very popular area for rock climbing with many pitches close by and many more in the El Chorro area.
