This area has been a humble neighborhood on the other side of the river ("El Lugar") that over the years is practically in the geographic center of the city. There are several bars with a great local gastronomic offer and a cooperative winery where wine and vinegar are sold in bulk so that you can have that Chiclanero flavor throughout the year.
