Tanglemere is a FEW MILES from Broadway village in a very quiet hamlet but only one minute from the A44 - the main route in to Broadway, and the 30 minute drive in either direction to Stratford-upon-Avon or Cheltenham Lovely country routes take guests from Murcot Turn to the beautiful local villages of Childswickham, Stanton, Stanway, Winchcombe, Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the Water, etc. Tanglemere sits up on a hill and has splendid views from both guest rooms. We have recently refurbished the whole house and it is light and airy, warm and comfortable. The house sits on its plot of 2 acres. The gardens front and rear are woodland types and we have an orchard producing plums, apples and greengages - free to guests of course! Our guests have their own TV in the bedroom/sitting room adjacent to the kitchenette and dining area. Guests have their own front entrance and lobby area.

Married to Norman for 10 years, Chris has been enjoying hosting for a number of years, previously in St Albans, Hertfordshire. I love being hospitable to people and helping everyone to have a comfortable and memorable stay. Both Norm and I are happy to help our guests wherever possible. We want them to enjoy the North Cotswolds as much as we do - although we haven’t had time yet to gain all the local knowledge that we’d like to - but we always have ways of finding it!

The neighbourhood is basically a hamlet of about 11 homes. Leaving the A44 and turning into Murcot Turn visitors will pass around 10 houses in our quiet lane and Tanglemere is set way back from the lane in a lovely position opposite open countryside. We are surrounded by orchards, trees, fields, views...sheep and wildlife. We think it’s idyllic!
