Musselburgh is conveniently situated between the city of Edinburgh to the west and open fields and many beaches nearby to the east. The local harbour, Fisherrow, is a haven for yachts, with a very good local fish shop and popular beach. Brunton Theatre Company hosts a variety of popular entertainment all year round. Many good local restaurants are to found in the area. Musselburgh Race Course is nearby with a full range of race fixtures all year round. There is very good selection of Golf courses in East Lothian with Musselburgh golf course less than 1km from the property. Musselburgh is also home to the oldest historical recorded Golf course in the world. Queen Margret’s University is only a short walk from the property, situated next to the train station to Edinburgh.
