Dorwyn Manor was built in 1938 but extended in 2008 and recently decorated and modernised throughout. We are very conscious of protecting the environment which is why we have installed a ground source heat pump system which draws heat from underground coils instead of using a fuel. The views from the property are extensive and wildlife is obvious. For any walkers that want to start their walk at the Sanctuary i.e. The start of the Ridgeway we are more than happy to drop you off if that’s your wish. If you’re arriving by bicycle, we have secure bike storage and a hose to wash your bikes. We're confident you'll enjoy your stay with us at Dorwyn Manor B&B.

Neighborhood info

An area of outstanding natural beauty within a World Heritage site, close to the Ridgeway. We have the largest stone circle in Europe dating 3200 BC and burial grounds dating back even further. A 15th Century Manor House, Museum and a lovely church built in 1089. Further to this we have the most Haunted pub in Great Britain. A place of wonder and amazement awaits you in Avebury.
