Hi. I’m Jackie. I’m married to Mark. I’ve been a nurse and have worked with teenagers in a school setting for 16 years. I have a love of the country, of walking and of dogs. I had an adorable Labrador called Ruby. I love holidays, nice food and time spent with friends and family. We have wanted to renovate a cottage for some time. We love the unique look of barn cottage, it’s central position and all the walking paths and beautiful countryside that surround it in Youlgrave. With the renovation complete it’s time to relax and use the cottage ourselves and hire it for others to enjoy too! Youlgrave is a lovely friendly village with three pubs and two cafes all serving food. Its a great spot for cycling, walking and relaxing. There’s even an open swim spot if you’re brave enough! There is a good local bus service into nearby Bakewell. The internet is the best way to get accurate bus timings.
