The Black Mountain Lodge is a delightful, family-run 4 Star Bed & Breakfast situated at the foothills of the Black Mountains just outside the Brecon Beacons national park. This lovely old traditional stone building, the oldest part dating back to the 1800's, is set in its own beautiful grounds with ample free parking and surrounded with breathtaking countryside. Set away from the 'hustle and bustle', the Black Mountain Lodge prides itself in offering a relaxing atmosphere and comfortable rooms, lending itself perfectly for those wanting to just "get away from it all"!

We are situated on the outskirts of the Village of Glasbury just 3 miles from the nearest town of Hay-on-Wye. The Black Mountain Lodge is perfectly located for those wishing to visit the area to take part in outdoor activities or to visit the famous town of books Hay on Wye; with its antique & book shops and it's literary festival which is held each May. The quaint market town of Brecon is just a 20 minute drive away to join in with its Jazz festival in August or a little further on to walk in the Brecon Beacons. There is the Royal Welsh Show in July, in Builth Wells just 40 minutes away.
