Erica and her husband fell in love with this part of Highland Perthshire after many holidays in the area from their home north of Inverness. The previous owners of the cottage collected interesting plants and it was really the garden that attracted them to the house. Over the last few years they have sensitively renovated and modernised the house to make it a comfortable holiday destination.

Property info

Blairchroisk is a warm, comfortable cottage in a very pretty enclosed garden. The house has been carefully modernised over the last few years with a new kitchen and heating system as well as adding a wood-burning stove. It has great views and peace and quiet but is equally fun for children to run around. It sits on the sunny side of the Tay Valley convenient for the many activities of Pitlochry, Dunkeld and surrounding area, including the Pitlochry Festival Theatre and Enchanted Forest. The beds may be configured as twins or doubles. It is best suited to up three adults or a family of up to two adults and two children. Egyptian cotton linen and towels are included.

Neighborhood info

There are many walks nearby from gentle strolls to Munro climbs. A selection of walks is available in the house. Guests may arrange fishing on the River Tay or white water rafter rafting or canoeing via Nae Limits based in Ballinluig. The historic towns of Pitlochry and Dunkeld are almost equidistant. Blair Castle with its many activities and annual horse trials is twenty minutes away as is the unique shopping experience of The House of Bruar.
