Whether it be for a family or professional people alike, the joys that Blanerne bestow upon you, are for 'All'. The peace and tranquility enables you to escape from the world for a period of time to get that fun and recuperation that one needs from the hustle and bustle of life today. Seeped in History the Castle ruins go as far back as the 1300's and beyond when knights drew their swords in defence and fought the great fight. Yet today the wildlife of deer, hares and peasants saunter along the earth that other's did tread. Walks through Woodland and Riverside all full of captivation of their own. When you have chilled to your hearts content and explored as much of the 'Magic of Blanerne' the City life of Edinburgh and Newcastle are easily accessible, just over an hours drive away. Not to mention multiple endearing towns of the Scottish Borders, Melrose and Kelso to name but a few. Literature of adventures too many to mention, distilleries, beaches, fishing and hunting there really is something for everyone!
