Bowden Lodge is a fabulous converted flint stone barn, nestled in expansive gardens and grounds. While the house has retained much of its rustic charm- with exposed brickwork and wooden beams, it has also gained a few modern touches with the addition of large TVs, luxurious bathrooms, a games room and an outdoor swimming pool. Sleeping up to 12 guests in 6 bedrooms, there is plenty of room for the whole family or a large group of friends. There will be no waiting for the shower in the morning, as most of the bedrooms have en suites, and a family bathroom is also on hand with a large bath and walk in power shower. Situated in the pretty village of Kingsdown, the house is just a short walk away from the beach, where you’ll find views of the White Cliffs, beach huts and seafood at the local pub. Stroll along the coastal path to Deal, for boutique shops, markets and restaurants. The golf club is on your doorstep too for keen golfers.

Kingsdown is a pretty village and has a few shops and some really good pubs (all dog friendly and child friendly) The beach is a short walk down the country lane and when the tide goes out is perfect for rock pooling. There is a golf club right.opposite, (Walmer and Kingsdown). Deal is the pretty town just down the road. You can walk, cycle or it is a short drive. You will find lots of great shops in Deal, a wonderful Saturday market and plenty of really good pubs and restaurants. There is a wonderful stretch of seafront with a good coastal path from Kingsdown to Deal to it makes a really pretty walk. Walmer or Deal train stations are only a 10 minute drive. You can get the fast link from London St Pancras which takes only an hour an a half. Parking - there is lots of space for parking at the house. The driveway is sloped but there is easily room for 4-5 cars.
