I live in the fabulous seaside town of Whitstable, where I own 3 quirky vintage inspired boutiques. I love travelling with my husband, Adrian, walking my rather silly cockapoo, and spending time at the beach with the family . Most of all I like to sit on my beach hut veranda and watch a Whitstable sunset with friends, and of course a glass of wine! As a host, and founder of Whitstable-Holidays, I look after our eight family properties, with the help of husband Adrian and sons, Fred and Tom. We really are a local family business and love to share our very special seaside town with others.

On the second floor, with sea glimpses and a view of quirky Kent peg tiles, chill with a coffee in the shared courtyard, or people watch from the large picture windows. Better still rent a fabulous front row, vintage inspired beach hut, from Nicky your host, with everything you need for a day by the sea (message for more details) Bowline is central to all the buzz of Whitstable, with all the chi chi shops and independent eateries on the doorstep. Polished black wooden floors and modern standards insulation make for a cosy stay whatever the weather. WifFi fast and free, with a desk/table for home working.

Harbour Street is nationally renowned for its independent shops and cafes. Right in the centre of things, yet quiet and calm, and less than a minute walk to the beach and the harbour with its fishing fleet, Bowline is a perfect location from which to enjoy the best of Whitstable. Have a coffee(or a glass of wine!) in the deli nearby, or watch the sunset from the beach. Take the train (twelve minute walk to the station and with fast trains twice an hour) for a day trip to London, or go to historic Canterbury on the bus, or explore beautiful, ancient Kent by foot or on bikes.
