Welcome to my traditional stone cottage with a garden on a quiet street, just a couple of minutes from Buxton town centre. The house blends period features with smart-home touches to make your stay easier, plus a log burner for cooler months. Opera House, the Crescent and the train station are within a 10-minute walk.

The space
The house blends traditional features with modern conveniences. Guests have keyless entry, motion-activated lighting outside and in, and smart-home functionality throughout. There is a cinematic OLED smart TV with Netflix and other streaming services, along with cinema sound in the breakfast room. A traditional log burner is available for use during cooler months, and heating is controlled via Hive.
The property has a tiered sunny garden to the rear and a landscaped side decked area. Accommodation is arranged over three floors, with views across the town and surrounding countryside, while remaining just a short walk to places to eat and shop. It works well for relaxing in the garden or spending time in the centre of Buxton.
The house is well located for Buxton’s arts, music and fringe festivals, which take place throughout the warmer months within walking distance. Pavilion Gardens, local parks and nearby walking routes provide easy access to green space and countryside. The garden areas offer a comfortable place to unwind outdoors after exploring the town.
There are four bedrooms with five beds. Superfast fibre broadband (450 Mbps) is available throughout the house and garden. Flat-screen TVs and Simba Pro mattresses are provided in each room. The house will be refreshly refurbished for 2026, and small welcome treats are included.
