We live and work on this mixed dairy/beef farm, which has been farmed by the family since 1960. We built the farmhouse in 1988 and converted the barn 20 years ago, giving us 2 nice light, airy guest rooms. The milking parlour is on the other side of the valley, but our young cattle can often be seen grazing near the accommodation.
Guests can often see our local bird and wildlife in the beautiful countryside surrounding the house and barn i.e. Buzzards, Kites, Pheasants, Deer, Hares and Muntjacs . Come and breathe the fresh country air.
There are many lovely walks from the guest rooms and we are only a short distance from the Macmillan Way- Please ask to borrow OS Maps if you wish to explore the area by foot.
We are also next to Hartham Lane, which is part of the Wiltshire Cycleway (203). Many great cycling routes can be found in the area and we can provide undercover bike spaces.
There is a list of recommended places to eat locally, but please ask us as things change rapidly.
I can also help with taxi numbers and information about Visitor Attractions in this area.
Would guests please be quiet at night.
