As well as being within easy access to Anglesey and the breath-taking scenery that Snowdonia has to offer via the A55 Expressway. Parking is Free on the quiet road 25 metres from the cottage. The road is only used for access by the local community, local bus service and resident Great Orme goats/sheep! The cottage has 2 bedrooms which are set up as a super-king sized bed (can also be a twin) and a double bed for your comfort. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need should you wish to make a full breakfast or a family meal. After a long day of exploring the local area and North Wales, return to the cottage where you can light the fire or relax in the cosy courtyard before venturing out for the evening to experience the local restaurants Llandudno has to offer. For 4 years I ran a 17 bedroom hotel with family in Llandudno until I decided to go and enhance my knowledge of the industry by studying for a degree in Tourism Business Management. After university I worked for a couple of tour operators but felt this was not fulfilling my passion for the travel industry where customers were a commodity. Set in a quiet and relaxing area of the Great Orme yet easily accessible to local amenities in the main town of Llandudno. The property itself is within a terrace of former miners cottages which were used to house the people who used to mine at the local copper mines on the Great Orme. Just around the corner there is a 9 hole pitch and putt available from April-October. Alternatively take a short walk to the edge of the Orme where you cansee breathtaking views across to Anglesey, Puffin Island and further over to the mountains of Snowdonia....certaily a picture opportunity on a great day. Dont forget to look out for the local resident Great Orme goats on your way. Getting around: The cottage is situated on the Great Orme. Around a 15-20 minute downhill walk to the Queen of North Wales resorts Llandudno. Easiliy accessible by car and taxi. There is also a regular local bus service which has a bus stop just 50yds from the cottage. If you are feeling energetic why not explore one of the local trails around the Great Orme to return to the cottage. You could also take the tram to the half way point whilst exploring the Great Orme on your way back to the cottage.
