Corner Cottage is a gorgeous, 17th-century, timber-framed holiday home with immaculate and contemporary facilities that blend perfectly with its Grade-II listed charm. The cottage sleeps 3 (+1) across two bedrooms and has an immaculate, contemporary kitchen and shower room and a cosy living-dining room, with an original inglenook making a grand statement. Corner Cottage has a lawn and a patio and sits at the heart of the ancient village of Bretforton, with the famous Fleece Inn just a two-minute walk away, and the whole Cotswolds region and Stratford-upon-Avon within easy reach. The cottage has a small lawn with an apple tree, the fruit of which guests are encouraged to collect and enjoy, and a patio and gravel area to the front with a picnic bench set. A path curls around the back of the cottage where there is a low fence dividing garden from the neighbour’s property. Corner Cottage has one, off-street parking space. This is fully refundable up to 60 days of arrival when your remaining balance payment is due. 1 well-behaved dog/s are welcome for an additional fee of 40 GBP per dog. The vibrant village of Bretforton has a thriving community, with plenty of events happening year-round. The National Trust-owned Fleece Inn is a fantastic hub for the village, and, depending on when you visit, you might encounter the quirky annual Asparagus Auction, Morris Dancers, or the apple and ale festivals. They have regular folk music nights too. Within a short stroll there’s also a handy community-run shop, and the parish church of St Leonard’s is a peaceful spot in the heart of the village. With the Cotswolds on your doorstep, including National Trust Hidcote and Kiftsgate (both seven miles) and urban delights such as Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon within easy reach, this is the perfect place from which to explore lots of attractions within several counties.
