We moved to Anroach Farm several years ago and set up Happy Hare for people to escape to so that they can enjoy the rugged beauty that surrounds us and this magical relaxing place. It proved so popular that since then we have converted old outbuildings into a block of four hotel style rooms with small kitchenette (no cooker or hob). We live on a farm, which means we are rural and there are no shops within walking distance. If you have a very low car, be advised that the farm is accessed via a gravel driveway. So you may want to take it slowly. Please check out the reviews, we are remote but close to Buxton and Leek so you get the best of both worlds.
I love wildlife and we often have deer, hares and curlew in the surrounding fields. I work as a photographer and am never short of things to photograph as well as working in software.
With the Roaches 5 minutes drive away and so close to Buxton, Leek and Manchester only 30 minutes away, we are ideally located for a stay in the countryside. Come and relax, go for a walk, visit Buxton or Leek a great base to explore the Peak District.
