Hi, we are Kevin and Suzanne and we’ve called the Forest of Bowland home since 2001, we’ve grown to deeply love this peaceful corner of Lancashire

With the unspoilt Trough of Bowland so close to the doorstep, the garden attracts a plethora of wildlife giving you the opportunity to sit and observe the local fauna and flora at your leisure. In Spring and Summer the Curlews, Lapwings and Oyster Catchers come up from Morecambe Bay to their nesting grounds. For the more energetic , bike storage can be arranged pre-arrival. Cycle hire is available locally. Woodlands offer off-road and mountain biking courses. With easy access to the M6 motorway, Curlew Loft is an ideal base to explore other areas from the hills of the Lake District National Park to the coastline of Morecambe Bay. The area is a mecca for those wishing to enjoy the fresh country air and explore the local footpaths or cycle the quite country lanes. The market town of Garstang offers a variety of shops, cafés and pubs, as well as a weekly Thursday market. The historic city of Lancaster boasts a wealth of restaurants, shops and pubs; or head up to the castle for stories of the famous Pendle witches.
