Dougie Pod, along with Joey’s Pod (ref UK42012) and Katie’s Pod (ref UK42013) are not what you would expect from a pod. They have a separate bedroom, a shower room, the living area has a kitchen with a full size cooker and table and chairs. There is a decking area to the front of the pod from where you can enjoy the views over the loch and mountains. A perfect spot to relax, enjoy the scenery and the coastline of what the peninsula has to offer. Driving to Dougie’s Pod you first have a romantic trip across the Corran ferry and then a lovely scenic drive down passing Loch Loch Shiel, Acharacle and then onto Kilchoan which is at the point of Ardnamurchan. The pod is close to Ardnamurchan Point and the shops and pub is 4 miles away, while Sanna Beach is 500 yards in front of the house and has beautiful sands. If the weather is nice, pack a picnic and head to the beach. Enjoy your morning cuppa on the decking watching the sea eagles hover above.
