A Dog Friendly and Gay Friendly Airbnb. There are three of us at Driftwood, Erika and Christine (Kris) who are retired and a 3 year old cockapoo called George who can be a handful,in a nice way. Our cabin is strictly for adults only traying to get away from the rat race. No children please. Only your furry babies. A tucked away holiday cabin located in Kingsgate, Broadstairs. It has a double bedroom with loads of hanging space, a lounge/kitchenette and a wet room. Everything is provided. A 2 minute walk to the famous sandy beach of Botany Bay, part of the Viking Coastal Path, A route of 32 miles (51.4km) that wraps around the Thanet’s coastline, with seaside towns to hidden beautiful rural villages. Ideal for cycling and walking (with doggie). We have plenty of pubs and restaurants to explode, even micro pubs and vine yards. Markets, theatre, Tate Gallery, the goth area in Margate and one of the best ice cream shops in the UK, serving over 100 dishes. Why not attempt the Viking Coastal Trail on foot or you can hire a bike or bring your own and top up your energy at one of the many pubs and eateries along the way, breathing in the sea air to build up that appetite. Walk along the white cliffs and on a fine day, see France. Victors can enjoy smaller walks along the beach form Kingsgate east into Broadstairs & Ramsgate or west into Margate. The beaches are sandy and flat, and the tide goes out a long way revealing rock pools full of crabs and shellfish. Always check the tide before your walk along the beach and be careful on the rocks which are very slippery. For Golfers we have North Foreland Golf Club Restaurant on our door step. Visitors are welcome to come and experience North Foreland Golf Club and enjoy a round on their Main Course. There is also a fun and relaxed 18-hole course suitable for all ages and abilities. London is just 90 minutes away by high speed train. Driftwood @BotanyBay is an excellent base to explore Kent and beyond.

Who we are and what is so special about Driftwood at BotanyBay Airbnb We love Dogs! Welcome to our home that offers a independent accommodation, Driftwood at BotanyBay. With golden sands just a two minutes’ walk away with the Viking Coastal Path. The cabin suits two people only. Guests with restricted mobility have been considered in the build and have easy access to and from the cabin. The cabin is not suitable for children. We are a EDI/Gay friendly household, book early for Margate Pride and the Pride entertainment new held at Ramsgate harbour. We are happy to entertain small dogs up to cockapoo in size. We have a cockapoo ourselves, called George, who is so friendly and loves people and other dogs. A bowl, biscuits and water bowl will be waiting for them. Guests are responsible for tidying up after their dog. You will have a designated parking space on our drive which leads to your own private side entrance which can accommodate wheelchair users. There are ample dog friendly Pubs and restaurants along the coast, wonderful walks and fantastic scenery. We are a water baby's dream with jet skiing, paragliding, paddle boarding even on a good day the surf is up, all within a short distance to the cabin. Research what you expect before you book. For the golf lovers, we have 7 golf courses within a radius of an hour, with North Foreland a 4 mins drive away. Christine (Kris) and Erika, the owners, are on hand to support your needs and steer you in the right direction to make your holiday one of your memorable stays. We have only been running since August 2026, Having 7 visitors within that month, all 5 star on another site.
