Duckling Lodge is a lovely contemporary lodge situated on South Lakeland Leisure Village near Carnforth. Set all on the ground floor, the property hosts two bedrooms: one double with an en-suite shower room and one twin, together sleeping four guests with a family bathroom. It has an open-plan living room with a kitchen, dining area and sitting area with a gas fire. Outside has an enclosed decking area with furniture, as well off-road parking. Duckling Lodge is a wonderful choice for a rural break to Lancashire. Note: An on-site lake is available for fishing at 6 per day. Please note: There is a launderette on site

Located just off the M6 and 20 miles south of the scenic Lake District, Carnforth is the sort of place that everyone has heard of, and many desire to discover this hidden gem. Situated at the north end of Morecambe Bay, north of the historic town of Lancaster, 15 miles from the winding lanes of the Yorkshire Dales and a hop and a skip from the Lake District, it is close to absolutely everywhere! Other local attractions include Greenlands Farm Village for crafts, local produce, a play area, café and a garden centre. The lovely area just north of Carnforth has tidal sands bordering the huge expanse of Morecambe Bay.
