Dugdales Cottage in Settle sleeps 2 people. A quirky Yorkshire Dales holiday cottage dating back to the 19th Century and a stone's throw from Settle's bustling town square with interesting shops, eateries and pubs. The Lounge area has a sofa, dining table, and cosy log burning stove. Underfloor heating provides extra comfort. A large flat screen TV features Freesat and on demand screening services including Netflix, Prime etc (subscription needed). There is free Wifi throughout the cottage and a selection of DVD's and books. Leading on into the kitchen this includes a washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, electric oven and gas hob, fridge with freezer compartment, coffee machine, toaster and underfloor heating ..... home from home comfort! Upstairs a spacious bedroom includes a double sleigh bed, carpeted underfoot with a central heating radiator. TV with Blu-ray, DVD player, Netflix, Amazon and on Demand TV. Finally, our modern luxury bathroom has a large walk in powerful shower, metro-tiled decor with a chrome heated towel rail, WC and vanity sink unit with large mirrored cabinet.

Settle has all the offerings of a quaint Yorkshire Dales market town. There is a choice of highly regarded cafes, restaurants and pubs all within a very short walking distance of the cottage. Settle hosts a traditional historic local market in the town square every Tuesday including food, clothing and homewares. There are 2 supermarkets and a number of local convenience stores all within walking distance. Settle train station is a few minutes walk from the cottage. Take a trip on the famously scenic Settle to Carlisle Railway line providing access to the Dales, the Three Peaks, and the Lake District. There are also rail links to Leeds and the wider rail network. Settle is the perfect destination for outdoor activities including hiking and cycling. The popular Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge is within easy reach and there are a number of breathtaking Dales walking and cycling trails that can be quickly accessed directly from the town.
