Eildon is located on the hillside overlooking The Menai Straits and with spectacular views of Snowdonia. The rear of the property overlooks open fields and there is a large, established garden with several seating areas for guests to enjoy. The front of the property offers generous and safe parking. Guests will be personally welcomed on arrival. We have Free maps and leaflets for many local attractions and are always happy to offer advice and directions. We provide a continental breakfast in the kitchenette next to the room. Guests have the flexibility of making their own breakfast when it suits them, be it an early start to go exploring or a leisurely lie in. The accommodation comprises of a bedroom, en-suite shower and toilet and a kitchenette for preparing breakfast. There are no lounge facilities, so guests can relax either in the bedroom or outside in fine weather.
Nina and Paul will make your stay with us as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. We have been hosting for 6 years and love meeting people from all over the world who have come to enjoy this stunning part of the country. We both enjoy looking after our garden and are both bee keepers, producing honey from our hives which guests can enjoy at breakfast, along with home-made jam and marmalade.
Close by within walking distance (for the enthusiastic), are the small towns of Menai Bridge and Beaumaris, known for their shops and varied pubs and restaurants. We are near to Beaumaris Castle, beautiful beaches, Plas Newydd ( National Trust property), Cadnant Secret Gardens and ideally situated for hiking in Snowdonia or walking the Anglesey coastal path.
