We love meeting guests from all over the world and our favourite part of the day is breakfast time when we get a chance to chat to everyone and get to know them a little better. We genuinely feel extremely lucky to meet so many lovely people.

Property info

Exmoor House is directly opposite our village inn, The Rest & Be Thankful, and has everything that we personally appreciate when we're on holiday. The showers are powerful with plenty of hot water to facilitate all rooms, beds are extremely comfortable, there are sockets in useful places, USB charging points, unlimited tea, coffee, hot chocolate and milk (so you don't have to decide if you're having that cuppa this evening or tomorrow morning - you can have both) a proper area for making that drink, a full biscuit barrel, a fridge for the bottle of wine you brought with you......the list goes on and on! If we've missed anything we're always happy to hear so we can improve our guests experience in the future.

Neighborhood info

Wheddon Cross is a working village so, although it's in the middle of Exmoor, it has a great shop, post office, petrol station and a fantastic and welcoming Inn so you don't have to drive to get something to eat. There is a livestock market which is worth a visit on market day as farmers come from far and wide to buy and sell cattle, sheep, poultry and farm machinery.
