Located at the foot of Ben Nevis, the long-established Glen Nevis Youth Hostel is just 3 miles from the large town of Fort William. It offers easy access to high and low-level walks, mountain biking, kayaking and other adventure sports. The hostel offers both private rooms and beds in shared dormitories. Each has access to shared bathroom facilities. Guests are also welcome to relax in the shared lounge area and make use of a communal kitchen. Glen Nevis Youth Hostel offers a wee breakfast, packed lunches and evening meals. Snacks, alcoholic and soft drinks are available at reception. The Ben Nevis Distillery is just 20 minutes’ drive from the Glen Nevis Youth Hostel and the Clan Cameron Museum is a 10-minute drive away. The surrounding area is ideal for canyoning and quad biking. The fine print
Full payment for all bookings will be charged at the time of booking. All major credit and debit cards are accepted, excluding American Express.
All bookings will include a temporary membership fee per person per night. Full existing members of Hosteling Scotland and HI using these channels are not entitled to a membership refund.
Individual reservations up to 9 people can be canceled free of charge until 3 days before the arrival date. If canceled within the 3 days before the arrival, 100% of the total price will be charged.
When booking for 10 people or more, different policies and additional supplements may apply. For stays of more than 8 weeks (57 days or more) 20% of total cost, for stays of 8–4 weeks (56–29 days) 55% of total cost, and for stays of 4–0 weeks (28–0 day) 100% of total cost.
Should guests be entitled to a refund or partial refund, please note that these are processed by Hosteling Scotland National Office, Stirling. It may take 7 to 10 working days from the date of the cancelation request for the refund to be processed back onto the original card used.
Guests traveling with children must inform the property at the time of booking, to ensure the correct number of beds are provided.
Please note that guests aged 12–15 years old are not allowed in shared dormitories without a parent or guardian of the same gender.

There is no capacity for extra beds or cots.
The property does not offer cooked breakfast.
