Glenarch House is set in over 4 acres of private gardens bordered by mature trees and the river North Esk. It is easily accessible yet peaceful and we're visited regularly by red deer, grouse, ducks, kestrels, buzzards and more. The gardens have several seating and picnic areas, children's swings, fruit trees and lots to explore. When you stay at Glenarch House you will feel like you are in the countryside but we are a short walk from the local pub, the local grocery store and the bus and train station to Edinburgh.
Glenarch House is hosted by Ben and Nicola along with their children Harrison and Holly. We look forward to welcoming guests to Glenarch House and can't wait for people to experience its unique setting in the area. The space and wildlife we have just a short distance from the city of Edinburgh is one of the things we love most and hope our guests do too.
We are located in the village of Eskbank just 8 miles from the city centre of Edinburgh, On our doorstep are attractions such as Dalkeith Country Park with its lovely shop, restaurant and kids adventure playground. The Scottish Mining Museum and Roslin Chapel are also a short driving distance away. It is the perfect base for exploring the city of Edinburgh and also further afield into East Lothian and the Borders.
