“We visited Mallaig as we ere taking the ferry to Skye. However the ferry was cancelled two days before we arrived. Glenwood is ideally placed to visit local beaches and is convenient for Mallaig. I would not hesitate to recommend the Glenwood.”

glenwood is a family run bnb in the scottish highlands, we are just a short ten min walk to the famous Camusdarroch beach where local hero was filmed, mallaig and arisaig are just around 4 miles away.Please note that a cooked breakfast is not supplied. It is a continental breakfast provided in your room for you to enjoy at your leisure. Please note, we ask guests to remove outdoor shoes in porch. Thank you
We want our guests to feel relaxed and at home while they stay with us. If I’m not here I can be contacted via phone if you need anything
We live on around 4 acres of land. It’s a very quiet peaceful area and have horses and wild deer in the field in front of our house! Nearest hotel for food is Morar hotel at just over a mile away. Arisaig and mallaig are around 4 miles away so nothing really within walking distance. Glenfinnan is around half an hour away where you can see the famous Jacobite steam train cross the viaduct which was made even more famous by the Harry Potter films! Mallaig and Arisaig have fantastic boat trips available from an hour to all day.
