We have totally refurbished our two ground floor rooms into a guest suite. The bedroom has an open en-suite and the living area has a small kitchenette with a lounge area (2 arm chairs and a TV set up). It's a great location with gorgeous walks from the property down to the river Avon which is a popular sup boarding/kayaking spot. The village of Saltford has a couple of good pubs (which do food), fish and chip shop, Indian restaurant and a grocery store all within 5 min walk.

The shops in Saltford are located on the busy Bath to Bristol road but the heart of the village is off to one side where there is a picturesque high street leading down to a pub (Bird in Hand) and the shallows (riverside spot where you can swim/kayak etc). A popular spot for cyclists as the Bristol to Bath cycleway passes by Saltford and can be seen from the house. Our nearest pub is the Crown which does good food and is a 3 min walk away. The Riverside Inn pub has a nice garden by the weir and is a 8 min walk. Across the fields is the lovely Bath Soft Cheese Company which has a upmarket cafe located on the farm. It's a 25min walk from the property (we can give you directions). The handy bus stop 100m up the road takes you direct to Bath (18mins), Bristol (30mins) or to Bristol airport (40mins). Driving into Bath only takes 15min and we can give you info on where best to park. Both Bristol and Bath have a park and ride service (15 min and 10 min drive away)
