The outdoor space at this charming cottage is truly delightful. The enclosed front area features a stone driveway, a spacious patio, and a beautifully maintained lawn, offering sweeping views over open fields and towards the majestic Eryri (Snowdonia) mountains. Ideally situated, the cottage offers excellent access to many of North Wales's most iconic locations, including the Pen Llŷn, Eryri, and the North Wales Coast. It’s just a 20-minute drive to Beddgelert, the closest starting point for climbing Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon). Porthmadog, the nearest town, boasts a wide selection of shops, major supermarkets, and delightful cafés. Here, you can also hop on the Ffestiniog Steam Train, which takes you on a scenic journey into the mountains. A pleasant 15-minute walk from Porthmadog brings you to the picturesque village of Borth-y-Gest, and the enchanting Portmeirion Village is just a short drive away. Criccieth, only 15 minutes from the cottage, is home to your nearest beach and offers a delightful blend of antique shops, cosy cafés, and the renowned Cadwaladers Ice Cream parlour.
