I have two properties - 'Lola the lodge' ( cream coloured) on the waterfront at Lakeside East and 'Betty' the blue prestige caravan, also on Lakeside East but one row back ( ie not waterfront). Lola is spacious and airy and accommodates up to 7 people. It has one master double with ensuite shower, basin and toilet. A second bedroom with a triple sleeper ( double below and single above) and a double sofa bed in the lounge. The lodge has a main bathroom with bath and shower, a dishwasher and washing machine. Wifi, tv and dvds, Wii and Wii fit, games, iron, hairdrier etc are provided. Lodges are usually only available through private owners such as myself . Betty the blue caravan has 3 bedrooms - a double, and four single beds ( in two twin rooms) . There is also a sofa bed in the living room but bedding and linens are not provided for the sofa bed as i prefer a maximum of 6 people in the van. Flat screen TV, dvds, books, games, & wifi (NB wifi is quite slow on park - ok for social media & google but not movies ) Note that 6 towels ( 2 large, 2 medium, 2 small) are provided (for indoor use only) at each property– please bring spare towels for beach/swim pool.

I bought the lodge May 2016 and the caravan in May 2018. Im a single mum with a day time job, ( i work in the offshore wind industry) and these properties at Haggerston are my life's savings and will be my pension when i retire. Please look after them! Although i run the holiday lets through a limited company, im just a down to earth woman who is often a headless chicken, ... maybe one day ill have a professional secretary to take calls and ill sound more like the Hilton front desk, but no, if you ring in the day ill be at my normal day job, or if you ring in the evening ill either be glugging some wine and watching Silent Witness or cooking, cleaning, shopping, nagging my son to do his homework etc! Thankfully, Haggerston security are on hand 24/7 and can fix anything, and they always answer the phone.

Haggerston Castle is situated in Berwick Upon Tweed with Holy Island and Alnwick a short distance away, should you decide to travel one day. The activities on site are vast from pedallos, archery, segways, swimming, arcades, horse riding, walking, children's soft play area, children painting area, outdoor parks and for food there is a pub/restaurant, fish and chips, pizza to list a few available as well.
