We stayed for the May Bank Holiday weekend at Harbour Walk. Robin was very helpful & prompt with communication. The house was ideal for us, clean, tastefully decorated & well equipped. We found parking for our 2 cars in the street without issue....

You will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. The house is located a short walk from the High street, pubs, Restaurants, Sailing Club, Yacht Club, harbour and the award winning beach. There is plenty of indoor and outside space to enjoy with on street parking. Dogs are welcome and there are some great coastal walks. There is a ferry to East Mersea and Point Clear. Plenty to do and more a short car trip away. Suitable for 4 adults and 2 children in bunk beds. The space The house is a traditional layout and was refurbished in 2023 with a new kitchen and bathroom along with other improvements. The ground floor has a lounge, dining room, kitchen, small utility room and family bathroom. The stairs are steep and lead to a small landing. The front bedroom has 2 single beds. The back bedroom has a double bed and leads to the children's room which is accessed through the back bedroom. The Children's room has a pair of bunk beds. The lounge has a sofa bed that can be used if needed. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer in the utility room. The family bathroom has a bath with a shower over. Outside. There is a small front yard, to the rear there is an enclosed garden with a pub style bench and plenty of room for you and your pets. Please note that the stairs are steep and narrow and may not be suitable for those with limited mobility, the toilet is on the ground floor only. There is ample on street parking has no restrictions, meaning that i have never had to park more than a few metres away from the house. The location is a perfect for access to the waterfront and the town. The pubs are great and there are some very good cafe's and restaurants a short walk away. For your supplies there is a newly refurbished Coop supermarket at the end of the road, Terry sells fresh fish at the harbour on Saturdays and the high street has a great butchers, green grocers and a small Tesco. Guest access You have access to the whole house and garden.
I love travel,I am a keen sailor. I live close by and if will always do what i can to help if there is a problem.
Brightlingsea is a small seaside town that has its roots in the oyster fishing industry. In modern times it has become known for yachting and dinghy sailing. The beach is quite small and tidal. There is a kids paddling pool, a Lido, a skate park and coastal walks that are great for dogs. In the summer a foot ferry runs from the harbour to beaches at East Mersea and Point Clear. The high street offers good food shops. There are a number of good pubs that offer food, or just a drink. There are some tea rooms and some good places to eat. There is on street parking and it is normally very easy to find a space. No permit is needed. The bus stop is 100m or so from the house, busses run to Colchester and Clacton on sea.
