With three comfortable bedrooms — two with king-size beds and one with twin beds (convertible to a super-king) — this home comfortably sleeps six. Guests enjoy a spacious lounge, a fully equipped country kitchen, a large dining area, and a private garden. The modern bathroom includes both a bath and walk-in shower. The property’s forest-facing setting and charming garden make it a true escape into nature.

I’m Diane, and I’ve loved the New Forest since childhood. After spending over forty years visiting this area with my family, it has been a dream come true to offer Helmsdale to guests who want to experience the magic of Burley. I’ve carefully updated this cottage to create a space that feels like home — calm, comfortable and well-located. I’m always on hand if needed and enjoy helping guests make the most of their time in the forest.

Burley is one of the New Forest’s most picturesque villages, known for its forest ponies, thatched tea rooms and traditional charm. From your doorstep, explore scenic woodland walks, cycle paths, or take a short stroll into the village centre where you’ll find quaint shops, the famous Cider Pantry, local pubs, and the Burley Fudge Shop. Wildlife is abundant, and guests often spot ponies and pigs nearby. The village is peaceful yet well connected, with easy access by car to beaches, Brockenhurst station (20 minutes), and other New Forest highlights.
