Saturday to Saturday bookings between April- November. This holiday cottage in Cornwall has three bedrooms (two double, one single), a upstairs bathroom with over shower bath, sink and W/C and a additional downstairs W/C. The kitchen/dinner has range cooker with 7 ring gas hob and two electric ovens (one fan-assisted), fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, washing machine and dishwasher and a kitchen table to seat 4 people. (extending out to seat 5) The lounge has a multi fuel burner, HDTV with internet streaming capability should you want to stream your favourite service, Blu-Ray and Wi-Fi access. Gas central heating throughout. The enclosed rear garden has a garden table and chairs. Bed linen, towels, water, gas and electric are included in the rental price. Pets are welcome. On-road parking only, on a first come basis.
Hi After fully renovating Hillside in 2012-13, it had been holiday let up until 2022, when I took a break to enjoy the cottage myself, and now I'm back to holiday letting again! If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Normally, the main question I get asked, is 'Is there any dedicated parking?' Unfortunately, because it is a very traditional Cornish lane, the answer is no. Parking is on a first come basis with no permits or private parking spaces, so grab a space anywhere up the lane!!
Situated in the quaint village of Egloshayle that nestles to the east of Wadebridge, Hillside Cottage is a beautiful three bedroom holiday retreat. With a cosy kitchen-dining room complete with range cooker, a large lounge with a multi fuel burning fire, and a sunny back garden, it's the perfect location for a great holiday in Cornwall. Close to the Camel Trail for cycling and walking and just 15 minutes drive to the Blue Flag beach of Polzeath in one direction and Padstow in the other. The Eden Project is within 30 minutes drive away. Believed to be a former shop, the cottage is around 180 years old with original stone floors and wooden beams. It was completely renovated in 2013.
