A very comfortable bed, functioning heatng, coffee+tea and kettle in the room, window that opened for ventilation, and very friendly staff. Good wifi. Our room opened onto a pedestrian street, and even on a Friday it was quiet enough we could leave the window cracked while we slept. There were multiple breakfast options including vegetarian choices. We would stay again.

I did not have breakfast. The hotel was located in a beautiful countryside which was just perfect for relaxing and a getaway. Beautiful grounds that I thoroughly enjoyed with the Camel Trail right behind the hotel.

Wadebridge is a really good base to explore this part of Cornwall. It has some really nice places to eat, convenient supermarkets and a friendly feel. We'd particularly recommend the Saltbox for casual food and the Camel Trail.

Wadebridge has changed since was last there 50 years ago.

Wadebridge has changed since was last there 50 years ago. Sad that the railway has gone. But at least the camel trail is good to bike ride and bike hire easy. Good there is less traffic now there is a by pass . Pubs and shops are good

Position was good.

Position was good. Long stay car park was a few minutes walk away . Plenty of bike hire companies to hire bikes for the Camel Trail which is what we done . We ate in a small tapas bar a couple of minutes walk away .

Great base for exploring north Cornwall.

Great base for exploring north Cornwall. Circular walk along the Camel Trail proved to be rather ambitious due to the heavy rain, but day trips to Trevose Head (circular walk), Tintagel Castle, Port Isaac and Boscastle were wonderful. Wadebridge itself has plenty of eating/drinking options and a selection of shops.

I was happy to be in the town of Wadebridge as previously I...

I was happy to be in the town of Wadebridge as previously I had cycled the path. I liked the bustle of the main street, the walk along the river and the views. I appreciate that some of the businesses are traditionally run possibly by local families. I wish the museum had been open earlier.

Wadebridge is a nice riverside town with access to the north...

Wadebridge is a nice riverside town with access to the north Cornish coast. The parking is relatively easy and you can still use coins! There are some good independent shops ( I always visit the big shoe shop), and we discovered Tim’s Place on this visit, a nice dog friendly cafe with good coffee and food. There are good supermarkets (Tesco’s,Aldi etc ) on the estate on the edge of town. We usually stay at The Olde House in Chapel Amble near to Wadebridge, but this time we stayed at a cottage at St Jidgey on the Padstow side of town. Both excellent venues for a holiday.

The location, as booked, was perfect, central in Wadebridge overlooking the beautiful bridge on the river Camel. The property was not advertised as having parking, but it did have secure parking under the building accessed with a key fob. This was an unexpected bonus. Also, the property has a lift which was another pleasing benefit when bringing in our suitcases and shopping. Given these extras it made the value for money even better. The flat was spacious and clean, and everything worked that should work. We would book again.

The apartment was great - exactly what we needed for our 3 night trip away. Great location for getting to Wadebridge and Padstow. We were able to book taxis to do the Camel Valley vineyard tour. We also did the camel trail from Wadebridge. The apartment was clean and tidy and had everything needed in the kitchen. The WiFi and smart TV were fab. Marion was a lovely host and very quick at replying to messages. Thanks so much.

Last minute booking - very comfy bed, good quality room and en-suite - v clean - quiet - great breakfast - lovely staff - shed to store bikes. Parking at rear was limited so park in free before 9am Goldsworthy car park - only a few mins walk - hotel is on a pedestrianised street - there is a lovely Cornish gift shop opposite.

Liz and Tony were very welcoming and good hosts. Location to Wadebridge township was very handy. Accommodation consisted of a large bedroom and separate bathroom downstairs. All very clean. Liz especially handy for sightseeing tips, guides to eating places. Parking available in front yard, off street. Would recommend.
