From the start to the end of our stay, we couldn't fault a thing. Jess who greeted us at the reception was so helpful, and welcoming, as well as all the other lovely staff during our stay. The room was stunning, immaculately clean, quiet, and the bed was really comfy (not to forget a very nice touch of a complimentary g+t!). The breakfast was lovely, made better by having an amazing view of the estuary to look out on. We can't wait to stay again, and would highly recommend it to anyone else considering a stay here!

The people are sincerely friendly, accommodating and professional. So helpful and sweet. Good location for Padstow but still a lengthy walk all up/down hill. Great layout, great facilities, very comfortable, very relaxing. Pretty perfect. The hand soap containers were empty and no dishwashing tablets/dish washing liquid, but this was quickly resolved so all good. Wifi was good but it did fail for 2-3 hours one evening but again resolved quickly. Washing machine was a great bonus. Bed comfy. We had a very relaxing and comfortable stay. Would I stay here again? Yes!

We had been walking the South West Coast Path and arrived by...

We had been walking the South West Coast Path and arrived by ferry to a busy, vibrant community, packed with tourists being the time of year! We loved a short wonder around the town and enjoyed a quiet garden over looking the estuary with a glass of wine and nibbles before eating at one of Rick Steins establishments a thoroughly enjoyable experience, stayed at The Old Customs House which was a good stop over for one night.

Padstow is an excellent holiday location where you can visit...

Padstow is an excellent holiday location where you can visit a different beach every morning and then stroll down to the harbour in the evenings. There are plenty of expensive restaurants and clothes shoips to visit if you can afford it, but if not you can always go to the cheaper pubs and the charity shops in Wadebridge and St Austell. There is actually a park for dogs in Padstow - it's called the Rec and we did have to drive to it as it's on the outskirts and not well publicised. Padstow is a very dog friendly town and I think I only counted about 5 places where dogs were not allowed.

Padstow is beautiful but the centre is a nightmare to park, especially at our age, it needs better parking. We went to some of the local beaches instead of the main beach, which we would have liked to have visited but couldnt as the parking was so bad.

Lots of lovely beaches to choose from.

Lots of lovely beaches to choose from. Try to find less popular ones if you’re prepared to walk a little bit further. Car parking is limited and can be expensive. If you’re planning to visit St Ives use the park and ride then take the coastal train. Stops right next to the beach. Had an amazing meal at Rick Stein’s Seafood restaurant

Padstow itself was busy with tourists but good to walk...

Padstow itself was busy with tourists but good to walk around for an afternoon. Rick Stein seems to own everything in town! Lovely walks from there to various beaches and great cycling along the Camel Trail. We enjoyed eating/drinking at The Cornish Arms in St Merryn (a Rick stein place)

Lovely little town, very well appointed for Restaurants and bars; easy to access via stairs next to the Seafood Restaurant and short walk. Car park was just about big enough and almost full but space was available.

Well designed rooms with clean beds and furniture. Well equipped kitchen and parking space for one large car. Near to Padstow harbour and shops. Many Art shops with beautiful paintings. We took the ferry to Rock which was nice with scenic views and beaches.

Fabulous location, and great space in an idyllic part of Cornwall. We had an amazing break and enjoyed being able to walk across the fields to Padstow in just 20 minutes. Pop up restaurant on site was also great. Can't wait to return.

Have stayed many times and always enjoy breakfast looking at the Estuary and the Harbour. The Hotel is situated in prime position for long strolls around Padstow. The staff are delightful and the food is great.
