Perfect for couples and families looking for a quiet holiday in the countryside! Situated in the market town of Richmond in North Yorkshire, is Jack's, 12 Tower St, a stone-fronted cottage, paces away from the cobbled market place and Richmond Castle. Whilst within driving distance of the stunning Yorkshire Dales National Park and all the villages and towns it has to offer. My cottage welcomes four guests, featuring an enclosed courtyard garden with amazing views of the castle keep, a sitting room, a well-equipped kitchen, a modern shower room and two bedrooms. Take a left outside the front door and you will find yourself In the market place with its wealth of shops, restaurants and pubs. Take a right for a short walk down hill to the River Swale and the waterfalls. Also a must is to visit the historic Georgian Theatre for either a tour or a production. The Station cinema, restaurant and museum is also well worth a visit. Richmond is full of beautiful walks to explore the surrounding area. The Easby loop my particular favourite which takes in the river, old railway line and Easby Abbey ruins.

Nature lovers can enjoy Thorp Perrow Arboretum & Wildlife Park, around 25 minutes away, featuring beautiful gardens, woodland trails and a variety of birds and mammals. Richmond also serves as the perfect gateway to the Yorkshire Dales, with endless opportunities for walking, cycling, waterfalls, charming villages and breathtaking scenery right on your doorstep.
