I have been involved in hospitality for twenty years and love meeting our guests and adding to their holiday experience. As well as running our glamping site we have a working croft here where youi can see our animals living the good live. its a beautifully peaceful environment that we hope helps all our guests to relax into their hioliday and make the most of the time away.

Keltic Cabin is an off grid accomodation set in the beautiful village on lochcarron. You have a basic kitchen to prepare food, a bush shower and a chemical toilet; these facilities are for your own use and not shared with anyone else. There is a parking area at the croft to leave your car and from there it is a five minute walk uphill to the cabin. We are happy to drive you to the cabin with your luggage when you arrive but there after you would need to walk so we are not really suitable for those with mobility issues. We are a working croft so you can meet our friendly four legged resisents during your stay; we have two kunekune pigs, 8 zwartble sheep, 3 pygmy goats, two barn cats and our ever faithful spaniel Murphy.... as well as our small flock of hens. Keltic cabin is a 30 minute drive from the isle of skye and is on the NC500 route. The village centre is a short stroll and offers two petrol stations, two shops, a hotel, a bistro and a few cafes. from the cabin you have views of the loch and the loch offers the chance for some water sports or wild swimming for those brave enough for the cold water! we live on site and are always happy to help in any way that we can and we are able to give ideas for places to visit during your stay.

Lochcarron is a lovely village with lots of opportunity for hiking, swimming and water sports. There is also a local pub and a few good places for food.
