Loch Carron has a special place in our hearts following this stay. The people are lovely and the place we stayed had such charm. Especially the piggies and the chickens and family dog!

Very unique experience. Hosts were super amazing & really friendly. They were very accommodating and genuine in all interactions. This is more a warmer weather experience. Suggest the cabins in colder seasons. Teepee was sturdy, warm and bed quite comfy.

Beautiful location, a good base for our activities in the area. The street was pretty quiet, little to no noise at night. Both of us are quite noise-sensitive so this was appreciated. The entertainment/streaming options were nice and easy to figure out. Rooms were a good size, beds comfortable. The home was tidy. Parking along the street was never a problem.

This is going to be a little different as far as my Scotland reviews go...The hotel is 160 years old. There are some things that just can't be improved in such an old building. With that said, a little paint and new carpet would be great. But that is not the draw of this hotel. The rooms are small with the smallest TVs I have ever seen in a hotel. But no mind. The pub is the draw. Richard told us when we checked in to come down after we got settled. He introduced us to the pub staff, his wife (Becca), and other hotel guests (hi Bryan and Bridgette). We had an absolutely lovely evening. Drinking, eating dinner, and talking with everyone. That was an experience I would not trade for a bigger room.

We had the family suite for the four of us, and it was wonderfully private and comfortable. The rooms and beds were perfect and the scenery was gorgeous. We loved dinner and drinks at the bar and, of course, breakfast! Jinxie was so nice and welcoming, and told the best stories. We really enjoyed talking to him! The town has a very quiet, local feel with beautiful sunsets! The walk to the castle was lovely! Would definitely stay here again!

Very calm and picturesque environment, we visited Lochcarron...

Very calm and picturesque environment, we visited Lochcarron out of season so the eating places were limited. A super new cafe is due to open very soon so this will help to offer choice. I am looking forward to visiting Lochcarron again.

Relaxed friendly atmosphere food the best evening meal of our 7 days in the Highlands we both would highly recommend a stay at this establishment views from bedroom were fan tastic. Dave& Maureen plus good outside seating&tables at the Loch edge
