we are a family team who all live onsite on our working croft. We enjoy meeting people and looking after our anumals and nurturing things in the polytiunnel.

Property info

Sterlochy Cabin is an A frame wooden contruction with tin roof, It houses a seating area and a double bed. Out side it has a utility shed where you can find a basic kitchen, chemical toilet and bush shower. These facilities are all for the private use of sterlochy cabin. It is off grid but has solar lights and the ability to charge phones. The is also running water in the kitchen area. Please note though that there is no heating in the cabin, but we do provide hot water bottle and snuggle blankets.

Neighborhood info

Lochcarron village is situated on the banks of Loch Carron and stunning views of the loch can be had from the cabin. The croft feels very rural and an escape from the hussle and bustle of modern life but a short walk takes you to the village which has two shops, two petrol stations, an hotel, a bistro and a couple of cafes. A mini supermarket is also found there and is exceptioanlly well stocked. We are very handy for drives to the isle of skye, the torridon mountains and the applecross penisular.
