Property info
Shannon tipi is an amazing space and a you and a total off grid experience . A traditional canvas tipi set on a hill Croft in the west highlands of Scotland.
It has a comfortable real bed, interior and exterior solar lights, solar usb charging point and full size bean bags to help you relax and enjoy.
The tipi also has a wooden built utility building which houses your kitchen, which is fully equipped for basic cooking, your toilet and your shower. All facilities are off grid which all adds to the really different experience of staying in a tipi. You are close to nature with stunning views and fresh air.
Please note that the tipi is uphill from the parking area and as such not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

Our Croft is in the village of lochcarron and is situated on the nc 500 route which makes it a popular destination for travelling.
As we are a working Croft with livestock we have a no dogs policy. However if you are interested in the animals or crofting we are happy to talk to you about this, and there’s always the opportunity to meet the animals,
The village itself is very pretty with a couple of shops, restaurants, petrol stations and a hotel.
It is convenient for Skye, applecross and Torridon to name but a few. This makes it a great base for exploring
