Sanachan is a traditional south facing house set in a mature garden.
It has been thoroughly modernised for comfort, but still retains its character.
The en-suite is on the ground floor with French windows which look onto the back garden.
It has been tiled throughout, with underfloor heating in the bedroom and the ensuite has a walk in shower.Guests also have access to a lounge, where breakfast is served.
Sue is passionate about the outdoors.A keen walker, swimmer and since living here a member of the Lochcarron Coastal Rowing Association-a skiffie! She has a beautiful 2 year old dog who is a springador and enjoys meeting guests.She also writes and dances ,enjoys cooking and socialising, as well as meeting people and sharing her home or sanctuary, as it has become!
An area of outstanding natural beauty, it is also a small rural community .A 100 yards away is the Kishorn Seafood bar, open from April to the end of October. It is quiet and remote, providing an oasis of calm in a busy world.
The Torridon Hills are nearby and there a many local walks to enjoy.
The nearby village of Lochcarron also has a Spar , hotel and cafes and restaurants.For those wishing to tour Skye, the bridge at Kyle is only 28 miles away.
