We are a family run croft and love meeting our guests who come from all over the world. Having all been born and bred in Scotland we are able to give you hints and tips to maximise your stay in our beautiful country. we have been involved in the hospitality industry for over twenty years and pride ourselves in our highland welcome.

The buttercup shed is our newly renovated glamping van which sits amid a field of buttercups! It features a comfy double bed, sofa and side tables. There are amazing views of the countryside and the loch from the window. Newly painted inside in a soft sage green makes it a lovely space to relax away from the stress pf modern life. Buttercup shed is off grid so lighting is suppled via charged latterns and facilities are in the utility shed. Also in the utility shed you will find a gas burner, pots, kettle, plates, cutlery, cups, glasses etc etc. Everything needed for basic cooking. Your utility shed also houses your cassette toilet and bush shower, the bush shower is a real hit with our guests many describing it as a fantastic experience! The buttercup shed is the latest addition to our glamping site which also has two tipis and two wooden cabins. All units are very wel spaced out creating lots of privacy for all guests. We are a working croft and,if you want you have the chance to meet the animals. We have sheep, pigs, pygmy goats, hens, barn cats and Murphy the dog. the glamping is a 6 minute uphill walk from the parking area so not suitable for those with mobility issues.

Lochcarron is a beautiful village and sits along the lochside. It has two pertrol stations, two shops, a hotel, two restaurants, three cafes and a post office. there are opportunities for water sports, wild swimming, hill walking and photography. we are a thirty minute drive from the isle of skye and on the nc500. A great base for exploring the surrounding areas such as torridon, applecross, plockton and skye.
