The development of the property from 3 cottages to as it stands now gives guests the opportunity to see the origins of its former configuration whilst seeing the development undertaken over the years and more recently since being under new management. The Lake View Hotel came under new ownership in August 2021 and offers the new owners the opportunity to combine many years of hospitality experience with a love for hosting and making every guest experience special. Originally a row of slate workers' cottages, since converted and extended, The Lake View Hotel has views over Llyn Padarn and to the mountains on the northern side of the Nant Peris Valley. Located in the scenic countryside of Llanberis, the hotel is a real landmark property situated on the approach to the village at the foot of Mount Snowdon. The Hotel stands within generous garden grounds that are accessible to guests and has free parking onsite. The 9 rooms are mixed between double and twin beds, lake view and garden view. All have TVs and 9 of the 10 are ensuite. Your stay will also include breakfast in the dining space in the morning. The hotel has spacious guest lounges offering the option to relax outside of your room. Tea and coffee is available throughout the afternoon / on arrival. A log burner also keeps the place warm and cosy on those cold winter nights. The property is a relaxed Bed and Breakfast offering visitors a place to stay with a hearty breakfast the following morning. The owners are on hand throughout your stay to help with any queries, take in wet clothes and muddy boots to place in the drying room, serve up a hearty breakfast and offer hot drinks.

The Hotel lies adjacent to Llyn Padarn on the road into the celebrated village of Llanberis. It is a short 1 mile walk into the village of Llanberis. With a selection of amenities, shops, pubs and cafes, the village is also home to the National Slate Museum, the Llanberis Lake Railway and the Snowdon Mountain Railway. The local area is a hub for walks, bike rides and of course gives the opportunity to make the trip up Snowdon, taking in the breathtaking views from the highest mountain in Wales.
