Bolthole Retreats was founded in 2017 by Martin McWilliam and is based in Cheltenham. We are the leading independent agency for Cotswold holiday rental properties. This former Nissen hut has been thoughtfully re-imagined and now offers spacious accommodation in a delightfully rural setting. Distinctive traditional features such as a curved corrugated roof have been included throughout, adding character to the architectural design. Ledge View offers sociable, open plan living with a generous living, kitchen, and dining area, making it perfect for family gatherings. There are three large bedrooms, one of which is on the ground floor with an accessible wet room. From the first floor there are wonderful views. The Cotswold Way and walks to popular Cotswold pubs are on the doorstep, including the Seagrave Arms in the village of Weston subedge, while Broadway, Chipping Campden and Stratford-upon-Avon are all nearby. The barn has a large garden, easy-access parking for four cars and accepts one well-behaved dog. Larger groups can also book the adjacent holiday home, Hill View Rise, a unique Dutch barn conversion. This is fully refundable up to 60 days of arrival when your remaining balance payment is due. 1 well-behaved dog/s are welcome for an additional fee of 40 GBP per dog. This fee is not included in the rental price. Please advise us at the time of booking if you are bringing a dog/s and you will be sent a request for the additional fee. Ledge View is in a rural setting, approximately one mile from the centre of the sleepy village of Weston Subedge, where you’ll find the Seagrave Arms – a Cotswold inn serving food and drink. The village is just a five-minute drive to the popular Cotswold towns of Chipping Campden and Broadway. Located on the northern edge of the Cotswolds, Ledge View sits on the edge of Dover’s Hill, which has excellent walking and is part of the famed Cotswold Way, which stretches 102 miles from Chipping Campden, to Bath in the south. Dover’s Hill is also the location of the Cotswold Olimpick Games - a celebration of early rural sporting events for amateurs. Events include King of the Hill, Championship of the Hill and the crowd favourite, Shin Kicking. Take a day to walk to and from the Ebrington Arms, 5 miles away, which produces its own Yubby beer as well as serving delicious food. Follow the Cotswold Way to Chipping Campden and then take the Heart of England and the Diamond Way to Ebrington.
