Grouped around & adjacent to the Low Costa Mill farmhouse, a collection of seven cottages have been skillfully & sympathetically adapted from former farm & mill buildings. Retaining many original features, such as exposed beams & brickwork, these cottages make an ideal base for families, small groups & couples, or for anyone who appreciates the peace & tranquillity of the countryside. All the cottages at Low Costa Mill are graded English Tourist board 4 Star Rating The resident owners occupy the farmhouse & are always on-hand for help & advice. The cottages benefit from being set in 10 acres of gardens and woodlands. A large lawn provides an area for relaxing, playing games including giant snakes and ladders, hopscotch or draughts. A climbing frame, swings and garden toys should keep the children entertained allowing the adults to relax. The on-site swimming pool is for the exclusive use of cottage occupants only and provides many hours enjoyment for the kids. In fact combined with the climbing frame, garden games and woodland walk many of our guests spend the whole day without even thinking of leaving the site.

Pickering, often known as ‘The gateway to the Moors’, boasts a number of visitor attractions, and a busy Monday street market. A wide range of cafes, tearooms, traditional pubs and restaurants to suit all tastes can be found in Pickering. Within the peace & quiet of stunning North Yorkshire countryside, but an easy driving distance to some of Yorkshire’s most beautiful scenery & attractions. The surrounding countryside is superb for walkers, cyclists & wildlife enthusiasts as well as dog owners. Whether your interest lies in Abbeys and Churches, Historical Houses and Sites, Beautiful Gardens and Lavender Farms or you are seeking thrills and adventure, Low Costa Mill is the perfect base to explore from.
