The Studio is situated in a very central but quite position just off Porlock High Street in a courtyard garden. We are just 2.5 miles from the shore line of the Bristol Channel where you can join the Coastal Path walk, and 3 miles up Porlock Hill to the stunning hills of Exmoor. Biking, Hiking, Riding, Museums, Gardens, Boat trips, Kayaking, Tennis, Steam Trains are just some of the activites within easy reach of us. When exhausted from all the activities we are lucky enough to have some great pubs and restaurants in the village, to recharge energy levels!
We look forward to welcoming you at The Studio. On your arrival I will be there to help you get settled and show you to our allocated parking (free) which is a few hundred yards down the lane opposite ours. We share the courtyard, but you have your own entrance to the Courtyard that during your stay we do not use. Unless taking the bins out! We believe in letting our guest enjoy their holiday without interference, but we are on hand and you are most welcome to knock on our door at any time if you should need anything.
All our previous guests love the convenience of our Studio and the quietness. The cosy comfy bed if commented on, and I have tried to equip the kitchen with everything you could possibly need, even included a pastry brush! We are close to Dunster Castle, and a Steam Train that runs from Minehead regularly. There is a falconry close by, pubs and cafes galore. Tarr Steps on the way to Dulverton is worth a visit, and the highest point of Exmoor - Dunkery Beacon is easily reached by most people. In The Studio you will find a wealth of brochures suggestion days out and also printed out walks and books of walks. Enjoy
