This studio-style, single-storey pod consists of a kitchen area with oven, hob, microwave, fridge, dining seating for two and a sitting area with woodburning stove. There is a king-size bed, along with a shower room. Outside, there is a balcony with a hot tub and off-road parking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Apologies, no smoking is allowed. within 1.1 miles there is a shop and pub. Glamping Pod 2 makes a wonderful base for a couple looking to get away from it all. Grange-over-Sands has one of the mildest climates in northern England, nestled between the Lake District and Morecambe Bay. Grange-over-Sands was a small fishing village before the Furness Railway. The town offers a traffic-free promenade, ornamental gardens, golf courses, brass band concerts, and bird watching. Just a short drive away are Lake Windermere (8 miles), the villages of Bowness-on-Windermere and Hawkshead, which retain their charm and character, and Cartmel, the home of sticky toffee pudding, with its famous racecourse and the 4th best restaurant in the UK, L'Enclume.
