Situated on the popular Lido Leisure Park and enjoying the riverside facilities of the River Nidd, perfect for picnics, swimming, fishing and water activities. The Watermill Cafe by the river offers refreshments and ice creams as well as breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. The Mill Tavern bar has had an extensive refurbishment. Family orientated and dog friendly with live entertainment, quiz nights (Thursdays) and sky sports. Find them on Facebook for upcoming events. As a guest of Nidd Way you can look forward to 10% off at the Watermill Cafe. There is an unmanned, coin operated launderette on site which is open late. St James retail park with various retail outlets and M&S food store is a 2 minute walk or local shops in Knaresborough are a 3 minute drive (15 minute walk).

Enjoy the local area of Harrogate and Knaresborough or travel further afield to explore beautiful Yorkshire with it’s many attractions. Harrogate and Knaresborough have many nice restaurants. You will always find somewhere that caters to your taste and budget. In Knaresborough enjoy a walk along the river Nidd to find yourself at Waterside and take one of the row boats out on the river. From there you can visit the castle, have a wander round the open air market (Wednesdays) or visit Mother Shipton's Cave and petrifying well, England's Oldest Tourist Attraction. Harrogate has many attractions including a theatre and convention centre hosting events, exhibitions and concerts. There is the famous Bettys Tearooms for all you cake lovers. For keen gardeners we have Harlow Carr Gardens and the Flower Show twice a year. Leeds and York have their own attractions: Leeds Royal Armouries, York Minster and many more, plus they are great for shopping so bring an extra suitcase. The surrounding Yorkshire countryside is breathtaking with the Yorkshire Dales and North Yorkshire Moors just waiting to be explored. Regular trains to York and Leeds (approx 40. Mins) Local bus routes very close, buses very frequent. Close to the A1 and A59 making it easier to explore further afield.
